In recent years, padel has witnessed a surge in popularity, captivating thousands of enthusiasts with it’s unique blend of athleticism, strategy, and social intereaction…Making Padel coaching an interesting and rewarding career, as you inspire people to start playing the game and empower them to unlock their full potential. Every day is a new challenge, from young children picking up a padel bat for the first time through to players chasing professional success.

Therefore, if you would like to take those first steps on the coaching journey, Hello Padel Academy can guide you through your coaching career, to become a padel leader and help develop players up to an elite standard.

Our certificates are the official ones for the Austrian, German & Swiss federations and more than 2000 people from over 25 countries have already begun their coaching career with us!

1. BRONZE TRAINING COURSE FOR PADEL COACHES

This course is the the starting point for people who want to become a coach, but is much more than an introduction to coaching…

By the end of this course, the candidate will:

• Have an understanding of the structure of the sport
• (History and current development of the sport of padel, main circuits, Top WPT Players, international bodies).
• Have basic knowledge of the top players.
• Know the different Padel types of bats for each player.
• Full understanding of the structure of a padel lesson.
• Plan and deliver a structured lesson using the Hello Padel Academy method.
• Posess basic knowledge of tactics and techniques, and deeper knowledge of the rules of padel.
• Organise Padel-related activities constructively and safely.
• Recieve a certificate of attendance

*Before the course begins, you will recieve via email, preparatory work in order for you to be as ready as possible for the course and will be able to access these lessons on our learning platform using your access code recieved upon signing-up.

DURATION

3 days (18 hours)

75% on court – 25% theoretical classes

MATERIALS:

• Manual – Bronze Training course for padel coaches (Level 1)

• A Welcome Pack.

• 1 Year full access to the Premier Online Coaching platform by HPA + HP COACH.

• Certificate of attendance BRONZE (level 1) Padel Coach by HELLO PADEL ACADEMY.

COURSE ASSESSMENT:

• Practical assessments on court. Candidates must demonstrate technical skills for different

ball feeding exercises.

• Candidates must attend all course sessions, and pass all assessment instances to be successful.

• Theoretical and practical test.

• To obtain the Coach certification from Hello Padel Academy, you should score a minimum of

70% on the theoretical part of the exam, and demonstrate the required skills to our panel via video exam sent in within one year of course completion.

9 to 11 Welcome & Theory
11 to 13 on court
13 to 14 lunch
14 to 17 on court

 SECOND DAY
9 to 11:30 on court
11:30 to 13 theory
13 to 14 lunch
14 to 17 on court

THIRD DAY
9 to 11 on court
11 to 12 theoretical exam.
12 to 13 lunch
13:00 to 15:30 practical exam
15:30 to 16:00 final picture & certificates of attendance given.
16:00 End of the course

DIPLOMA

Upon successful completion of the exams, particpants will recieve a diploma, endorsed by the prestige of our international coaches’ academy. This diploma, as previously mentioned, is the only one recognized by the German, Swiss and Austrian padel federations (with more to come!). It also counts as 12 points towards the Netherlands federation certificate.

Failing the exam: The candidate will be eligible for a second attempt/resit (free of charge) to pass the practical and theoretical components. The theoretical part will be online, and the practical part is evaluated by the panel of experienced coaches on the examination team, who then give you feedback, corrections and observations, so as to help your progress. Moreover, as of 2024, if a second attempt is failed, then any additional attempts will be subject to a charge in order for the panel to continue evaulating and correcting exams.

Course Pre-requisites:

1. Be at least 18 years of age at the time of starting the course.

2. No coaching experience is required.

3. All candidates must log in to the Hello Padel Academy online platform to watch the listed videos before the beginning of the course.

COST

The cost of the “Bronze Training Course for Padel Coaches” will vary depending on the host (Country and club offering the course).
